• What does L15 stand for?

L15 comes from Luke chapter 15, where Jesus tells three powerful stories about God’s heart for the lost, the hurting, and the overlooked. Our church is built on that foundation of helping people find and follow Jesus through community.

  • Where is it and what time should I arrive?

We meet at the Maldron Hotel on Sandy Road, Galway. The service starts at 5pm. Arriving 10 minutes early gives you time to get settled.

  • How long is the service?

About 65 minutes. We aim to start and finish on time.

  • What actually happens?

You’ll be welcomed at the door, there’ll be live music, a short, practical talk from the Bible, and space to connect with people after. Nothing awkward, no pressure to participate.

  • Is it family-friendly?

Yes. We run L15 Kids for primary-aged children during the main service. It’s a fun, safe space where kids learn age-appropriate Bible stories, play games, and sing together. L15 Kids happens separately from the adult service. Our kids’ space is clean, well-organised, and our volunteers are Garda vetted.

  • What should I wear?

Whatever you’re comfortable in. Some people come in jeans and trainers, others a bit dressier. There’s no dress code here.

  • Do I have to believe in God to come?

Not at all. You’re welcome whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or just curious.

  • Will I be asked to give money?

No. There’s no expectation to give, especially if you’re visiting. Just come and enjoy the service.

  • Do I have to talk to anyone?

No pressure. We’re friendly, not forceful. You can slip in and out if that’s your style — or stay for a chat if you want.

  • Is there parking?

Yes. There’s underground parking at the Maldron Hotel, Sandy Road, Galway with two levels in the basement of the hotel. You can access it directly from Sandy Road.

  • Do I need to RSVP?

It helps us plan, but it’s not required. You’re still very welcome to come along without signing up.
