FAQs About Visiting L15 Church
  • What type of church are you? Are you Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, etc.?

We’re a Christian church rooted in the historic faith of the Church. We hold to the core beliefs shared across Christian traditions, as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed. Rather than fitting neatly into one modern label, we focus on following Jesus and living out his teachings as we find them in the Bible.

  • What does L15 stand for?

L15 comes from Luke chapter 15, where Jesus tells three powerful stories about God’s heart for the lost, the hurting, and the overlooked. Our church is built on that foundation of helping people find and follow Jesus through community.

  • Do I have to be a practising Christian to come?

No. You’re welcome whether you’re reconnecting with faith, exploring it for the first time, or simply curious. L15 is a safe place to ask questions and take things at your own pace.

  • What time are your services?

Our Sunday services officially launch on 22 March 2026. Until then, we’re gathering for smaller events like Interest Nights, Bible studies, and Community Outreaches.

See our Events page for upcoming gatherings and times — it’s the best way to see what’s happening and join in.

  • Is there something for families and kids?

Yes. All our gatherings — Interest Nights, Bible studies, and socials — are family friendly. As we prepare for our Sunday launch, we’re also building a safe, fun space for kids to learn and grow. Families are welcome at every stage.

  • What happens at an Interest Night?

It’s a relaxed 1 hour where you’ll hear the story behind L15, meet the team, and get a sense of the vision for the church. No pressure to sign-up — just come and see.

  • How is L15 funded?

L15 is supported by people who choose to give voluntarily, as well as by other churches and partner organizations who share our vision. Giving is always optional — whether you give or not, you are fully welcome here. We keep everything simple, transparent, and sensible, and you will never be pressured to give.

  • How can I get involved?

The easiest way is to come to an Interest Night or a Bible study. These are the first steps toward being part of our launch team.

  • Do I have to know the Bible or have strong faith to come to the Bible study?

Not at all. Our Bible studies are designed for anyone — whether you’re new to the Bible, reconnecting with faith, or just curious. You don’t need any background knowledge. You can ask questions, listen, or simply explore at your own pace.

    Everyone is welcome.

  • What are the requirements to be baptised?

Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, including children, can be baptized, according to Acts 2:38-41. It's crucial for parents to avoid pressuring their children into baptism before they are ready.
